Wilson has scored six times for Bournemouth so far this season, two behind leader Sergio Aguero, who has eight. Eden Hazard and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are next in line with seven goals apiece.

Harry Kane was the last Englishman to win the Golden Boot, as he picked it up two years in a row before Mohammed Salah just edged him to it last year.
