The Time Ousmane Dembele Trashed Jurgen Klopps House In Dortmund

After recent disciplinary issues at Barcelona, Ousmane Dembele has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool but a crazy story about what he did to Jurgen Klopp’s house has resurfaced.

As per BILD, Dembele was renting Klopp’s house in Dortmund in 2017 and his behaviour was becoming a real concern as he tried to get his dream move to Barcelona.

Once he had heard of Barca’s interest, Dembele’s head was completely turned and he stopped showing up for training.

What’s more, it’s also said he ‘trashed’ the home owned by Klopp – reportedly leaving it in a ‘chaotic’ scene by leaving bin bags on the front garden and not looking after clothing or furniture.

Apparently Klopp, like an angry parent, was furious with the condition Dembele left the property. He’s scary enough when he’s moaning at the fourth official so you can only imagine how he vented when he found out here.

It wasn’t quite like he’d smashed up the gaff but he certainly wasn’t taking care of the place.

Still, it appears as though Klopp remains a fan of Dembele.

“Is he on the market? Now I’m interested,” was Klopp’s response when he was asked about Dembele in a press conference in the summer.

Dembele did get his desired transfer to the Blaugrana, signing for a then club-record fee of £97 million and taking on the No.11 shirt vacated by Neymar.

He’s won La Liga, the Copa Del Rey and the Supercopa Espana so far but his attitude has been poor.

According to El Chiringuito TV’s Ignacio Miguélez, the 21-year-old turned up to the Nou Camp late for the game against Real Betis.

Miguélez says that players who aren’t selected for the squad are required to turn up 15 to 45 minutes before the start of the match.

Will Dembele be on the move soon?

Sound off in the comments.
