Eden Hazard produced an utterly ridiculous pass for Belgium’s opening goal against Iceland last night.
Michy Batshuayi was the man who found the net with the first of two goals in the UEFA Nations League victory, but Hazard’s unbelievable vision and delivery is what has everyone in complete awe.
With 25 minutes remaining, the Chelsea man did a couple of shimmies and then perfectly picked out the run from full-back Thomas Meunier, who isn’t even in shot to begin with.
Meunier latches onto glorious ball in behind and squares for Batshuayi for a simple finish.
It’s a goal that really comes out of nothing but then it’s a feature of Hazard’s game – picking the ball up and then producing something special in an instance. Here he takes out the whole Iceland defence with just one pass and makes it look like it’s light work.

Prior to the game, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez heaped praise on his skipper and says he is immune to pressure.
“He’s been a very good leader,” Martinez told reporters in his pre-match presser.
“There are many different types of leaders but I think what Eden Hazard brings is someone you can get influenced by and who is an incredible source for younger players and who has been someone who can never, ever get affected by the pressure of the game or the pressure of the situation.
“And he enjoys his football and is always decisive for his play and a role model for all of us.”
